The Founder, Thomas Morton - a Special Operations veteran in the US Army, has been an avid outdoorsman since a young age. Growing up in Florida, he was constantly on the hunt for the next large mouth bass honey hole. He quickly realized the most valuable ponds were the ones most remote, and that to get there you needed a capable vehicle. That experience, coupled with his time in the military, has given him an appreciation for quality gear and quality vehicles. That path has led him to the formation of Stronghold FabTech.

As any Overland enthusiast knows, the key to a successful trip is planning and preparation. The preparation often includes a variety of essential gear. How you carry that gear is often just as important as what you bring. On bumpy trails, broken and lost equipment is a common story.

Since 2020, Tom has been working on a storage solution that takes advantage of the underutilized wheel-well area that is common in off-road vehicles, that also integrates with other established storage solutions.

We are pleased to announce we have finally developed a product that promises to do just that. Our first part will be for the 5th Gen 4Runner, but our goal is to rapidly expand into all of the other Overland platforms. We can, and we will do that.
